About us

Supporting lifelong learning and creativity

Bloomsburie takes its name from two sources: the Bloom's taxonomy framework for classifying student learning outcomes and the vibrant Bloomsbury neighborhood in London celebrated for its rich history and landmarks, such as Charles Dickens's house. As trainers and educators, defining effective learning outcomes is critical to our work. Each Bloom's level is represented in our culture and workforce: create, evaluate, analyze, apply, understand, and remember.

While studying at the London School of Economics, Kinha Lester, the founder of Bloomsburie, spent considerable time in the Bloomsbury neighborhood—London’s intellectual hub. Kinha was deeply inspired by Bloomsbury’s rich literary, artistic, and cultural heritage. During a pivotal visit, while contemplating her career and watching her son play in Bloomsbury Square, she envisioned starting her own training and education firm. As a young mother in the garden, she aspired to create a company culture that welcomes and supports individuals from all walks of life, united by a passion for developing training and education solutions. This defining moment in Bloomsbury Square solidified the firm’s commitment to innovation and growth in the field of training and education.
