Bloomsburie was awarded a six month contract to provide Instructional Design Services for the Smithsonian Institution's (SI) Accountable Property Officer (APO) and Property Custodian (PC) Training course. The APO and PC Training course was developed using Articulate Storyline and consisted of 8 modules that incorporated interactive elements of video, knowledge checks, and how-to videos on procedures and processes that the APO and PCs performed on their jobs. This course provided an overview of the APO and PC's roles and responsibilities of the SI's personal property.
Bloomsburie's Instructional Design Team designed Level 2 courseware using Articulate Storyline, and the following tasks were involved in developing content:
- Created template designs and prototype
- Designed storyboards for programming and graphics
- Performed 508 compliance on training course
- Created customized Vyond videos and other how-to videos in Adobe Animate
- Submitted final learning materials in SCORM format (including source files if needed for future editing)
- Post development allocation time for requested changes/edits of developed content and testing.
- Our team also provided project management and quality control support throughout the contract to include weekly meetings, review cycles, additional Q&A meetings with SMEs and leads, change sheets to tracked status and recommendations on changes, and final recommendations from SI's team.
