In the fall of 2019, Bloomsburie was awarded a five-year contract to provide educational support services for the DOL's Division of Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation (DEEOIC) for the Office of Workers’ Compensation (OWCP). Our Instructional Design Team is developing approximately 50 course modules based on the DOL Procedure Manual. Using Articulate Storyline, the following tasks are involved in developing content:

  • Create workbook style courses
  • Convert the compliant training to SCORM 1.2 or 2004 format
  • Submit final learning materials in SCORM format (including source files if needed for future editing)
  • Post development allocation time for requested changes/edits of developed content and testing in the LearningLink Learning Management System
  • Customize soft skills related training for online delivery

Bloomsburie's Instructional Design Team develops training content that allows the learner to review the related procedure manual chapter(s) objectively to solve the questions/problems provided in each module. The student-centric template design provides an engaging learning environment, preferable to requiring the learner to read and interact with text and animation loaded-screens. The design approach prevents learner fatigue and cognitive load at a manageable level.
